Nadine & The Prussians are Nadine Finsterbusch and Bruno Bauch –
two friends that have been making music together since their teenage years. Nadine sings, Bruno plays the guitar. Live they are supported by Leo Auri on piano and Adrian Krok on drums.
Nestled somewhere between Beach House, the Cocteau Twins and Roxette, Nadine & The Prussians have set out to become the next big duo of Dramatic Pop. Their much anticipated debut "The Elise EP" has now been released on Phinsterbush Empires. The EP is a collection of empathic pop songs. Singer Nadine Finsterbusch sings of love, friendship and the search for one's own identity in her lyrics that sound like late-night diary entries. Throughout the EP her distinctive voice seems to cascade through the band's collages of sound, creating atmospheric songs that are fragile and forceful at the same time.
Recorded in Berlin with producers Ramin Bijan (Die Türen) and
Norman Nitzsche (Whitest Boy Alive, Masha Qrella, It`s a Musical),
the EP showcases the band's ability to write catchy yet substantial pop songs and serves as a landmark of who they are and a glimpse
of what they might become.
